Top Ten things I love about Tulum

I just returned from hosting an art and yoga retreat  in a little corner of paradise...Tulum Mexico. It is on the Yucatan Peninsula just 2 hours south of Cancun, but a world away from the giant resorts of the Mexican Riviera. My husband and I first visited there about 10 years ago just after we were married on the island of Isla Mujeres not far away. We fell in love with the beach, the people and the vibe...so we keep returning year after year and now I have devised my Inspiration Retreats to bring women there to fall in with it love too.

Here my Tulum Top 10 ( it was hard to keep it to 10!):

1. Happy dogs...Oh to be a dog on the beach in Tulum!

2. Everyone does yoga (or other amazing movement/dance)

3. Amazing sunrise over the ocean...every morning
.

4. Tropical Beach + Gelato = Paradise.

5. Miles of white sand beach for my morning walk.

6.Palapa living close to nature...its wild and windy!

7. You can get good Italian cappuccino right on the beach.

8. Beautiful fresh food.

9. Massage? Amazing.

10. Every day is a spiritual experience!

I just sent your link to a cousin who is dealing with breast cancer. I remember your line and your charming name, but was once again reminded of you after watching a NY Garment District special on HBO last night. Be happy and remain the beautiful person you present yourself as. Some people glow from within. You are one of those people!

I am so happy to see you are healthy again and doing so well. I prayed for you when I heard you had breast cancer. BUT BOY…DO I MISS BUYING YOUR CLOTHES AND SHOULDER BAGS! Today I went to a consignment store and found a lovely Sigrid Olsen pair of slacks…I spotted the Sigrid light green dye-lot from 50 paces! And they were just my size. You once signed 11 of my Sigrid Olsen shoulder bags at Macys in Lexington, KY. one day. I remember telling you I’d gotten to the place where I told people, “If Sigrid doesn’t have it – I don’t have it.” You laughed and asked if you could use that line in the future and I said – “sure!”. Stay well, lovely and happy! I just sent your website to a friend of mine who just learned she has breast cancer and has opted for a double-M.
