 Sigrid is a prolific and intuitive painter. She uses transparent layers of brilliant watercolor over printed with stamps that she carves herself. She has developed a huge repertoire of iconic images that she uses in her hand printed artwork incorporating her recurring themes of nature, the sea, foliage, and flowers. The imagery is decorative and uplifting, while the cleanliness of the compositions retains a very modern appeal, making the pieces perfect for use in light-filled interiors. Her color palettes are varied...from the turquoise  aquatics to luscious botanical greens, light air-filled pale sky shades and rich, sensual earthy neutrals. The inventory of original paintings changes rapidly as pieces sell, but special orders are common and welcome. Please note that all original artwork is hand-painted so no two pieces will be exactly the same.
