Ceramics

This unique collection of artistic ceramics is hand-painted by Sigrid Olsen and low-fired locally in small batches. Sigrid has developed her own distinctive technique of painting, which features her bold use of color combined with a sgraffito method of drawing into the surface of the glaze before the final firing. 

SPECIAL ORDERS: A number of patterns are featured on Sigrid's hand-painted ceramics. Any pattern can be special ordered on any shape. Please choose the color and pattern by browsing through the items in our web collection and call us to place a special order. Custom inscriptions are available for gift items. For example the Love Birds and Kissing Fish platters are very popular wedding gifts and are often inscribed on the bottom with the couples' names and wedding date. Custom orders usually take 2-3 weeks and are no extra cost, but must be paid for at the time of order and are non-refundable.

Low fire ceramics are food safe, but please handle with care and wash by hand. Please do not place in microwave or dishwasher. Because each item is hand painted, no two are exactly alike.
