Sigrid is a prolific and intuitive painter. She uses transparent layers of brilliant watercolor over printed with stamps that she carves herself. She has developed a huge repertoire of iconic images that she uses in her hand printed artwork incorporating her recurring themes of nature, the sea, foliage, and flowers. The imagery is decorative and uplifting, while the cleanliness of the compositions retains a very modern appeal, making the pieces perfect for use in light-filled interiors. Her color palettes are varied...from the turquoise aquatics to luscious botanical greens, light air-filled pale sky shades and rich, sensual earthy neutrals. The inventory of original paintings changes rapidly as pieces sell, but special orders are common and welcome. Please note that all original artwork is hand-painted so no two pieces will be exactly the same.

Our on-line inventory of original artwork changes constantly as paintings sell and Sigrid creates new pieces. If you would like to place and order for a painting at any time, Sigrid is more than happy to accommodate you. Special orders are just $50 extra. Depending on her travel schedule, she is usually able to fill special orders in 1-2 weeks. This can be longer is she is out of town or on a trip. Just call and we will let you know right away.

HOW TO PLACE A SPECIAL ORDER PAINTING:

Review original paintings and prints on the website and original art archive and make note of color schemes and imagery that appeals to you.
Sigrid can repaint any painting in our archives any size...it will resemble the original but will not be exact.
Call us toll free — 800.929.1766 to discuss your requirements and place your order.
Choose desired size ( horizontal or vertical), color scheme, motifs ( birds, seascape, palms, shells, etc) and text if desired.
Decide if you want the piece matted or framed.
You may request to speak to Sigrid directly to discuss your request...she enjoys hearing about the room, the person or the occasion for which the piece is intended.
All paintings are photographed and e mailed to you before shipping. Once approved custom paintings may not be returned or refunded.
There is a $50 surcharge for all custom paintings.
