Every January we go to Tulum, which is well-known for its yoga retreats and spiritual vibe. It is lovely and unspoiled, dotted with small eco-resorts and imbued with the gentle spirit of the Mayan people. The five-day retreat combines hands-on art workshops with Sigrid, daily yoga classes, guided meditations, and shamanic sessions (priced separately) with Martha Abbot. There is plenty of time for journaling, relaxing on the beach and taking in the sights, including the nearby ruins of Tulum.
